I managed to ge...Thank you for all your blog posts! I managed to get the older Debian Wheezy running well on a G5 single core 1.6GHz with 1GB of ram. It's got the GeForce 5200 card so I used nouveau.modeset=1 and video=TV-1:d yaboot params to get a GUI. No need to disable acceleration.
