Just add midori.conf to /etc/ld.so.conf.d with the path to the libraries (/usr/local/lib, I believe; I'm currently reinstalling Debian on my machine so I may be mistaken). 0.5.8 is pretty solid, with no crash issues. In my experience on Debian and Lubuntu PowerPC they all run perfectly. Never one lockup or crash. Never even a hint of an issue.<br /><br />I am not saying it's an x86 issue, but it's possibly some odd issue with the package you used. Which is a letdown.
